Love at first sight: Vanessa had always dreamed of a beachfront wedding. As soon as they entered, they were struck by the way the venue blends the sea with the natural beauty of the forest.
A Dynamic Party: The day unfolded in three distinct settings, creating a continuous “surprise” effect:
- Civil ceremony: Under the Saracen Tower with a touching ring exchange;
- Appetizers in the Patio: A second area that seemed like “another place” despite being in the same building;
- Night party: It ended with disco, open bar and pizza and pasticciotti buffet
Assistance and local network: The couple praised the network of local suppliers (design, flowers, graphics) coordinated by the venue. For those organizing from abroad, this support service was essential to overcoming logistical challenges.
Excellent Salento Cuisine: The Spanish guests raved about the revisited traditional dishes. Special praise went to the impeccable management of allergies and intolerances, with alternative dishes available for every need
A staff that “pampers”: The newlyweds felt constantly cared for and pampered, with moments of relaxation dedicated just to them for a quiet meal. During the service, they were delighted to enter the kitchen to thank the staff directly and take a photo with everyone.
Guests described the wedding as “fun and dynamic,” made possible by the patienceand professionalism of Francesco and the entire Cala dei Balcani team.

There just aren’t enough words to do the Cala dei Balcani justice. It goes without saying that the entire
venue and all its locations are absolutely breathtaking, and as soon as we visited we knew we’d found
something really special.
The staff are all experienced professionals and genuinely kind people who always made us feel heard and at
ease. This made it very hard to say goodbye when it was all over! We didn’t even need a wedding planner,
as Ivana was a godsend who guided and helped us tailor the day to perfection, despite us living far away.
They even recommended and helped organise the florist, transportation, and music, and we were so happy
with every choice. On the day itself, all the staff (with a special mention to Roberto) ensured that the
schedule progressed seamlessly and we did not have to worry about a thing.
Our guests got to live a beautiful experience, exploring different locations at the venue, each more beautiful
than the next. The food was just incredible, each dish was sublime and presented beautifully, with super
fresh and locally sourced ingredients. From the aperitivo to the desserts, each guest was in awe at the
quality (and quantity) of delicious food!
Our wedding brought together families from Italy, the UK, and the Netherlands, as well as friends from all
over the world. The Cala dei Balcani was extremely accommodating with the different languages and
traditions and gave everyone the opportunity to experience the beautiful Salento in the best possible way.
We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day, and we will forever look back with a huge smile and
eternal gratitude.

Mark and I have chosen this venue that is enchanting… we suggest it to everyone who wants to live their wedding day as a fairy tale.
From the first moment we let Emanuela advise us, she is always ready to stand by you and help you in your choices, always ready to support you. As we could not come and talk personally due to the distance we were highly supported with videocalls that we have been able to schedule at the times that were the most suitable for us, even when it meant to have them very late at night.
During the wedding she was always available with a simple glance ready to make us feel certain that everything was running smoothly! The venue speaks for itself! From the tower with sea view to the path through the pinewood, to the hall with the star vaults and, last but not least the belvedere terrace where we cut the cake at sunset.
We were assisted to find accommodation for all our guests in hotels that were all near Cala dei Balcani and many of our guests enjoyed this so that they had the possibility of reaching Cala dei Balcani on foot and then at the end of the reception they were taken back to the hotel with a shuttle. A lot of emotions lived with an excellent staff … go on like this.
Guys get married at Cala dei Balcani … you will not regret it!.

We discovered you by chance and from the first videocall Emanuela transferred us all the best possible emotions that made us fall in love with the idea of getting married at Cala dei Balcani and we decided to
choose it without feeling the need to search anywhere else. Our wedding had to be celebrated in the magnificent Cala dei Balcani. We live in a big and chaotic city so the colourful and peaceful Santa Cesarea seemed to us like a heaven: the village is on the Adriatic sea and it offered our guests many chances of enjoying a little holiday tanning under the Mediterranean sun during the day and enjoying the cuisine in the evening.
During preparations even if we live outside Italy you helped and guided us in each choice, reassuring us in everything and we were advsed always for the best and today we are very happy that we knew the big family at Cala dei Balcani.
Our wedding was much more than we expected. Using the words of one of our guests it has been a journey among beauty: from the flavours to the colours, the decorations, the emotions: you have been the perfect frame to our most important day.
We have been complimented for the choice as everybody enjoyed the typical Salento food that they tasted at Cala dei Balcani and we thank the cooks for suggesting this choice. We had tasty dishes made with excellent local fresh products, the staff has been also very helpful explaining everything about the dishes that were served. Nothing was left to chance.
We will never stop thanking the staff at Cala dei Balcani for making us live a fairy tale. When we were thinking about our wedding we imagined it just like this. You made our dream come true. Thanks for the unique emotions that you gave us, we will always keep you in our hearts. We would choose you again 1000 times more! Go on like this! We wish you all the success that you deserve.

Let’s start by saying that Cala dei Balcani will always have a place of our hearts. The venue is enchanting overlooking Santa Cesarea Terme a small characteristic village in the South of Italy with a transparent blue sea and cozy little areas where you can still bathe and have fishes swimming around you and in the night you can see the moon and stars reflecting on the sea.
Behind this you have a pinewood that provides shade in the sunny afternoons when the sun shines high in the sky. In this scenario is Cala dei Balcani a beautiful venue that offers you the peace and green of the pinewood and at the same time offering you a stunning view of the sea.
We had this view from our arrival in the area where a meadow surrounds a beautiful ancient tower, then on the patio where we enjoyed the tasty appetizers before going in the beautiful dining hall for the dinner.
For the cutting of the cake we chose the belvedere rooftop terrace where we had the full moon shining while we danced our night enjoying every moment of it.
The food from appetizers to dessert was all of excellent quality. All the staff of Cala dei Balcani showed us great availability in satisfying all our requests and advise us for the best to create an unforgettable day.

We took an appointment for a video call almost by chance and it was love at first sight. Dreamlike venue, breath taking view, everything well-kept in each detail … we found what we were looking for.
Our goal was to leave our guest in awe and we succeeded in this. We need to thank them as we not only live abroad but we also have to follow specific rules due in both the food and the reception. We were assisted expertly and with dedication and empathy by Emanuela, who provided us with all the support concerning logistic (i.e. hotels, hairdresser, transportation etc) but also the chef who took time to adapt the menu to our specific food requests and Ivana helped us with all the parts the concerned the decorations and settings that we needed. We got married in 2021 and our guest still speak about the fantastic Cala! Excellent food, nice and available staff a place with a 10 cum laude! I will never forget how we felt at home and for this I have to thank all the staff!
Wonderful people who put their soul in the work so that your day will be impressed in everybody’s heart.
Thanks for making our wedding magical, for making me happy saying yes to everything that I wanted to do as the crepes cart and the sweets buffet. I would choose you again 1000 times … what a pity that you can celebrate your wedding only once!

durften wir den schönsten Tag in unserem Leben in der zauberhaften Location Cala dei Balcani in Santa Cesarea Terme feiern. Von der ersten Sekunde an fühlten wir uns nicht nur willkommen, sondern wirklich umsorgt. Das Team war mit ganzem Herzen bei der Sache und jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter hat alles daran gesetzt, dass unser Fest zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis für uns und unsere Gäste wurde. Da wir in der Schweiz leben, konnten wir viele Details vorab in Online-Calls besprechen. Das gesamte Team war stets freundlich, warmherzig, professionell, immer erreichbar und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Jedes Anliegen wurde direkt und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit gelöst, was uns eine grosse Sicherheit und viel Vorfreude bereitet hat. Das Essen war einfach ein Traum – mit Liebe und Hingabe zubereitet. Es hat uns und unsere Gäste restlos begeistert. Unseren Gästen läuft noch heute das Wasser im Mund zusammen, wenn sie an das hervorragende Hochzeitsmenu denken. Die Atmosphäre, die bis ins kleinste Detail durchdachte Dekoration und der aufmerksame Service haben uns und unsere Gäste tief beeindruckt. Wir würden uns immer wieder für Cala dei Balcani entscheiden. Ein grosses Dankeschön an das ganze Team – ihr habt uns eine traumhafte Erinnerung geschenkt, die uns ein Leben lang begleiten wird.
